Life after Ike

I've recently lived through hurricane Ike.  A week prior to the hurricane hitting Galveston, my family moved 25 miles inland.  Although my immediate family didn't incurr any damage, so many of my friends and family lost anywhere from things in the garage to their entire homes.  I visited the neighborhood I grew up in in Galveston.  In the three block area, there are 38 homes completely destroyed.

People on the Gulf Coast area are strong and will rebuild.  Show your support.  Let me know you saw this blog entry.  If you book a vacation the rest of this year, I will donate $25 per booking to the relief hurricane fund.
